A value voucher works like a credit balance that your customers can use as an additional means of payment in the shop. The voucher amount is only deducted from the total amount at the very end of the checkout process, i.e. after VAT has been calculated. In this way, the value voucher reduces the outstanding payment amount, similar to a down payment or partial payment, and not the taxable net merchandise value.
This is an important difference to discount vouchers: while discount vouchers reduce the net cart value and therefore the VAT to be paid by the customer, value vouchers are handled outside the shop’s tax calculation. They simply offset an existing credit against the final amount due.

We can manage and analyse your credits professionally, for example by filtering, checking and exporting value vouchers as needed, so they can be used in reporting or other systems.
Please note: in addition to value vouchers, there are also discount vouchers with different tax rules. While discount vouchers reduce the net merchandise value and thus VAT, value vouchers only reduce the outstanding payment amount at the end of checkout and are treated like a prepaid partial payment.

The Supply Chain Act enshrines the duty of care towards employees and the environment. The law obliges companies to check the extent to which human rights and environmental protection are being violated within their supply chains.
We have incorporated these guidelines into our compliance and taken measures to prevent incidents. At the same time, we have introduced a complaints mechanism for those affected.

We take responsibility - and not just since the new Supply Chain Act. We want to ensure compliance with basic human rights and environmental protection standards through regular audits of our partners.
In future, we want to make the origin and manufacture of all products traceable for you at every stage of production. We are working on this.
